WATCH: Interview with Buckie Thistle manager Graeme Stewart after defeat to Brechin City in Highland League title decider

Buckie Thistle lost the Highland League title in the final four minutes of Saturday's decider with Brechin City at Victoria Park.

Sub Ewan Loudon and top scorer Grady McGrath - with his 35th of the season - both scored to break Buckie hearts as Brechin snatched the league trophy in a dramatic finish.

Stewart magnaminously conceded that City deserved their title triumph for playing to the very end, but praised his own team's efforts in a tense match.

Stewart said he was "devastated" to lose the league battle in such dramatic circumstances bit said he is determined to strengthen his squad for an even stronger challenge for honours next season.

Meanwhile Strathspey Thistle put in a much improved defensive performance and even took a first half lead away to Fraserburgh thanks to Michael MacKenzie in the 36th minute.

But second half goals from Sean Butcher (50th), Josh Bolton (66th) and Bryan Hay (88th) sent the Grantown side to a 3-1 defeat in their final league game of the season.
