Left back Grant, who joined the Grantown side last summer from local welfare league champions Boat of Garten Ospreys, has agreed to extend his stay until the summer of 2024.

The 21-year old has been restricted to just 13 appearances this year due to injury, but is firmly in the manager’s plans going forward.

Jags boss Rob MacCormack said: “Liam is a good local boy who will be desperate to help bring the club forward. He’s been out injured for the majority of the season so hasn’t featured much at all.

“Hopefully we can get him fit in the next few weeks and he will be ready to go again next season. He will be a massive part of what we are looking to achieve next season.”
