Jags enter the 'Premier' league – at least, in shirts!

Grantown-based Highland League club Strathspey Thistle FC has welcomed the Premier store in joining McGowans and MKM as shirt sponsors.

The town’s store is the eighth owned by Arul Palanippan and there will soon be shop number nine, when he opens in Nethy Bridge in a few weeks time.

The photograph shows Strathspey Thistle club chairman Donly McLeod, shop manager Arul Kumar Sekaran, and Jags fan and recently retired, Charlie Sinclair, who has joined the Seafield Park set-up to assist commercial manager Rob Clark in trying to get more sponsors involved with the club.
