Top of the league faced bottom when Graeme Stewart's side made the journey to Grantown to take on Strathspey Thistle, with a comfortable away win expected.

But it didn't turn out that way, as the home Jags made things difficult for the leaders throughout the contest.

Andy MacAskill had a penalty saved before half time and the match stayed goalless after the regulation 90 minutes were played.

Crucially, Buckie came up with something extra special and it was Sam Urquhart who pounced on a rebound to net in the first minute of time added on.

A minute later he raced through again to score his second and seal victory for the visitors.

With Brechin City not playing, Buckie stretched their lead at the top to seven points, with their rivals having two games in hand.
