Kingussie's MacTavish Cup Final game to be shown live this weekend

BBC ALBA will broadcast live coverage of shinty’s MacTavish Cup Final tomorrow.

Holders Kingussie take on Skye at the Bught Park in Inverness as both sides battle it out for the trophy – the premier competition for shinty teams across the north of Scotland.

For Skye, the match represents a first major final since winning the Camanachd Cup in 1990.

Full live coverage on BBC ALBA will be hosted by Micheal Steele, with commentary from Hugh Dan MacLennan and former shinty star Gary Innes.

Live coverage from Bught Park begins at 4pm.

The channel will also show live coverage of the Celtic Society Cup Final between Glasgow Mid Argyll and Oban Camanachd two weeks later.
