STRATHSPEY Thistle have boosted their attacking options with the addition of two more loan signings, in Liam Taylor and Owen Loveland.

Striker Liam Taylor (26) arrives on loan from Clachnacuddin.

A familiar face, Taylor – whose former clubs also include Fort William, St Duthus and Forres Mechanics – will begin his second spell at Seafield Park, having spent two years with the Jags between 2019 and 2021.

He enjoyed his best career spell with the Jags during the 2019-20 season, netting 10 goals in 25 appearances and finishing as the club's top scorer.

He moved to Clachnacuddin last summer and in his first campaign with the Lilywhites he scored five times in 31 games.

Thistle have also brought Elgin City forward Owen Loveland in on loan.

An academy graduate at Borough Briggs, the 19-year-old spent last season on loan at Forres Mechanics, featuring 18 times and scoring once.

Jags' assistant manager Mark Holmes said: "We are delighted to get both boys in. We are grateful to Clachnacuddin and Elgin City for their part in the moves. Both boys will hopefully hit the ground running and enhance competition for places within the team.

"Both lads have Highland League experience and will be a good addition to the squad we have already. They are attacking minded and will bring an energy to the team."
