The Grantown Grammar School physical education teacher has signed an extended contract which will see him remain at Station Park until the end of the 2024/25 season.

The 28-year-old joined Nairn County in 2018, having played with University of Stirling in the Lowland League for four seasons.

He has made 71 appearances for Nairn County and scored six goals.

Manager Steven Mackay says Dey has excelled for Nairn County in the middle of the park.

“Gus is another player who is getting better and better each week.

“His energy in the middle of the park is key to how we play and he has settled into that role very well.

"His attitude is outstanding and we are looking forward to working with him for a further two years.”
