First shinty match to take place under floodlights at Kingussie's Market Stance
There is an open invitation to everyone in Kingussie and the surrounding community to come along to the Market Stance for 7pm tomorrow (Friday) for the official opening of the new floodlights.
The event will be marked by an under-12 match between Kingussie and Inverness, played under the new lights.
It will be the first competitive fixture to take place under the floodlights.

The Market Stance is a community facility managed by Kingussie Camanachd Club.
Club spokesman John Robertson said: “Anyone is welcome to use the playing field on a casual basis at any time.”
The project has received invaluable funding and backing from a range of supporters including Kingussie Community Development Company hydro fund, Cairngorms National Park Authority community-led vision fund, Cairngorms Trust, Highland Council and sportscotland.
