Ex-Jags boss Brian Ritchie will take over as interim manager at Strathspey Thistle following the departure of Charlie Brown.

A club spokesperson stated: "We are in a position to announce the interim management team to take the club forward until we appoint a new management team.

"Brian Ritchie will be taking charge and assisted by Craig Ireland and Robert Flett.

"We wish Brian and team all the best for his time in the role."

Ritchie returned to the Grantown Highland League club in the summer as head of football development

He was manager of Strathspey Thistle from 2011 to 2013.

Ritchie, who is based in Carrbridge, returned after three seasons with fellow Highland League outfit Clachnacuddin as their under 20 team manager.
