KINGUSSIE and Newtonmore are set to feature in a new documentary about shinty which will be broadcast next month.

Giving it Stick is a visceral and access-all-areas documentary showcasing the rough and tough game of shinty and the Highland communities where it is played.

The documentary will follow Kingussie and Newtonmore through the highs and lows of the 2022 season.

The show will be broadcast on BBC Scotland on January 17 at 10pm.
