Brora Rangers have confirmed that Craig Campbell has resigned as first team manager.

Campbell had stepped up from his assistant role under Steven Mackay when the latter stepped down early last season, and immediately masterminded a turnaround in fortunes at Dudgeon Park.

Too much ground had already been lost in the Highland League title race, but the Cattachs did claim the Highland League Cup and the North of Scotland Cup under Campbell's management.

The departure was confirmed around 48 hours before Brora host Keith in Highland League action, with assistant Stuart Golabek taking interim charge.

He will be supported by David Kirkwood and Josh Meekings.
