Badenoch shinty players dominate East ladies squad

The senior squads have been named for the representative ladies match between the East and the West which takes place at Mossfield in Oban.

Mowi National Division winners Badenoch dominate the East squad with no fewer than nine players involved as there are places for Jeanette McGregor, Sarah Caird, Rhona McIntyre, Mairi Stewart, Eilidh Ross, Kirsty Deans, Hope Borthwick, Megan Ralph and Zoe Reid.

A strong West squad includes 13 players combined from Mowi Valerie Fraser Camanachd Cup winners Skye Camanachd as well as runners-up Glasgow Mid Argyll and Lochaber who are currently second in the Mowi National Division.

Throw up is at 2.30pm on Sunday 1 October.
