Kingussie and Newtonmore will both be on their travels in the next round of the MacTavish Cup.

The Red and Blues will take on Lovat whilst Newtonmore are away to Lochaber on April 15 in the second round of the competition.

Kingussie progressed with a 2-0 won on Saturday thanks to goals from Ruaraidh Anderson (22nd) and Savio Genini (40th) to avenge the previous weekend's shock 3-0 defeat to the same opponents.

Meanwhile, the Eilan side had a 2-0 win over Kinlochshiel with the goals coming from Craig MacLeod (44th) and Craig MacIsaac (77th) to book their place in the draw earlier this afternoon at Bun-Sgoil Ghàidhlig Loch Abar.

The full school was kitted out with t-shirts, bags, caps and water bottles emblazoned with the cottages.com MacTavish Cup logo as a reward for their help in completing the draw.

The first two names out of the hat were Lovat and Kingussie in what is set to be a great match while the second tie saw Skye drawn away to Beauly.

Elsewhere, Glenurquhart will make the trip to Inverness and the final tie out of the hat saw Lochaber paired at home against Newtonmore.
