Manager Scott Campbell and his assistant Iain Robinson have had a change of heart and will stay on in charge at National Division champions Badenoch next season.

Scott Campbell said: “Through discussion with a number of people involved at the club, and on reflection at the end of last season, Iain and I have both decided that we want to commit our time and energy for another year.

“We are extremely grateful to the club and players for embracing this and we look forward to getting the new season under way.

“We understand the task that lies ahead and how difficult that will be, but we are motivated, driven and determined to work hard to hopefully make the 2024 season one to remember.”

Robinson, who is based in Glasgow, will juggle duties with playing for the Newtonmore first team but is committed to the role. Campbell added: “I’m delighted that Iain is keen to be involved again.”

Last year’s title success made it three-in-a-row but Badenoch have unfinished business in the Valerie Fraser Camanachd Cup, having lost out to eventual winners Skye in the semis.
