Another day off for Kingussie High pupils

The heating problem which led to an unscheduled day off at Kingussie High School today remains unresolved and the pupils will stay off tomorrow.

Head teacher Ian Adamson has told parens and guardians:

"I regret to inform you that Kingussie High School will remain closed tomorrow, Friday December 18 due to boiler issues.

"Although we thought that this had been resolved the heating and hot water has not reached sufficient temperatures to allow the school to re-open.

"We are doing all we can to rectify this for Monday.

"Work will be set on Google Classroom so pupils can continue to work from home."
