Well-known Aviemore piper launches Highland Fling online

One of Scotland's best known pipers is taking his regular performances online.

Aviemore's Calum Fraser, best known as 'Spud the Piper', has taken his usual regular performances around Strathspey online to his Facebook page. Every Friday night at 8pm, Spud is now be performing his 'Friday Highland Fling' live from his garden in Aviemore.

He said: "Since the Coronavirus outbreak and lockdown began I have missed doing my regular performances for the tourists and locals and thought I would try doing a live gig online.

"Last Friday was the first one and the amount of viewers was quite unbelievable, so I have decided to make it a weekly event."
