Ironworks director Caroline Campbell gives a peek at the signature wall

This is a rare chance to take a look at a place not many had access to when it was open.

It closed its doors for the last time on Saturday.

And hundreds of musicians’ signatures that feature on a section of walls behind the scenes in the place will be preserved when the building is demolished.

But before the final gigs from bands Twin Atlantic last Friday and Inverness band Elephant Sessions last Saturday, Ironworks director Caroline Campbell took us inside for a closer look.

She talks about how it came to be and some of the people who took a pen and made their mark.
