BBC Strictly Come Dancing star Flavia Cacace will be the guest judge at next year's Strictly Inverness charity competition.

The 41-year-old Italian professional dancer will be joined by her husband, actor and previous BBC Strictly contestant Jimi Mistry.

The annual contest – which was cancelled in 2020 and 2021 due to the pandemic – generates funds for Highland Hospice and Inverness Ice Centre, which will stage the event in May.

A hospice spokesman said: "We are delighted that the lovely Flavia Cacace will be joining us as a judge at our Grand Finale on Saturday, May 21, along with her husband – the talented actor and previous Strictly contestant Jimi Mistry.

"It will be a delight to introduce Flavia and Jimi to Inverness next year, and we look forward to delivering a safe and exciting event."

Tickets will be on sale on March.
