UPDATE: Teenager taken to hospital in Inverness following Kessock Bridge closure

A teenager has been taken to Raigmore Hospital in Inverness following this afternoon's Kessock Bridge closure.

The road was closed for more than two hours while emergency services were at the scene.

A Police Scotland spokesperson said: "Officers were called to concern for a person on Kessock Bridge, Inverness, at around 1.20pm on Thursday, September 1, 2022.

"An 18-year-old man was taken to Raigmore Hospital.

"The road was re-opened at around 3.45pm."
