Kessock Bridge has reopened after being closed in both directions for around four-and-a-half hours last night.

Emergency services representatives were at the bridge from around 9pm, with Traffic Scotland describing it as a "police incident".

Motorists – including football fans travelling south from Ross County v Celtic in Dingwall – were advised to use alternative routes.

It is not known what action emergency services took while in the area.
