Inverness Airport is being hit by flight cancellations as severe wintry weather affects services.

KLM’s 1.20pm KLM 0930 flight from Inverness to Amsterdam is the latest to be cancelled.

The 12.15 pm British Airways BA1469 service to Heathrow is currently listed as delayed.

Earlier today Loganair’s LM591 6.30 am flight to Manchester was cancelled, as were the LM151 10.10 am flight to Stornoway and the LM131 10.30 am flight to Sumburgh.

The BA1468 11:30 am arrival from Heathrow and KL0929 12:50 pm arrival from Amsterdam have also been cancelled.

This morning’s Easter Airways services between Aberdeen and Wick airports were also cancelled, but this evening’s flights remain scheduled as normal.

A spokesman for the airport’s operators Highlands and Islands Airports said: “Adverse weather is affecting our airports and is impacting flight schedules. We advise customers to contact their airlines for the latest flight information.”
