UPDATE: 80-year-old Nairn man has been found

An 80-year-old man, who had been reported missing from the Nairn area, has been found.

Police issued an appeal for the public to help track down Malcolm MacLeod, who had been last seen at around 10am yesterday when he boarded a bus for Inverness on the A96.

A police spokesman said: "We are pleased to report that 80-year-old Malcolm MacLeod, missing from the Nairn area, has been traced. Thank you to everyone for sharing our information."
