Pick-up arrives for jammed lorry in Kingussie

A recovery vehicle is at work clearing the delivery lorry which got trapped on Kingussie's Clock Tower Brae earlier this evening.

The incident happened on the corner of East Terrace and Ardbroilach Road, with both roads blocked since early this evening when the delivery vehicle became stuck in the narrow junction.

The full details of the incident are still awaited.

The Strathy has inquired if Police Scotland has been informed but as yet there has been no sign of any of the emergency services.

Possibly more on this later if information comes in.

Meanwhile the recovery truck is in action.
