Highland Council roads teams are continuing to treat all Badenoch and Strathspey routes, says today's condition report.

As at 8.26 this morning the main offenders were frosty patches and sporadic snow showers.

"Treating all routes," the reports confirmed, but "no known overnight issues."

In the general neighbouring Inverness area the main trouble was wet roads with falling surface temperatures.

"All routes and footpaths being treated. No known issues overnight."

The UK Met Office currently has a yellow weather warning in place for snow and ice for much of the Highland region.
