Three cheers for the King, says Grantown





Today was an extra special day for the members of the Royal British Legion Scotland Strathspey.

It was not just an occasion to mourn the passing of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth as her state funeral was taking place in London, nor just to offer three cheers to her successor.

It was a day to raise the King's colours.

A service this afternoon at the branch clubrooms in The Square saw Peter Page and Rob Clark raise the colours after a word of remembrance and prayer from Rev Mary Duncanson.
