"Last night's summer solstice 2020 was stunning" says Christine Watkins.
"This shot of mine was, incredibly, taken at the exact time of the solstice from Insh, at 11.43pm."
The summer solstice, also known as festival solstice or midsummer, occurs when one of the Earth's poles has its maximum tilt toward the Sun.
It happens twice yearly, once in each hemisphere.
