Out-of-town fashion and homeware retailer Matalan is temporarily closing its Inverness store at Inshes Retail Park for a revamp.

It will close at 6pm on Sunday (February 6) and will re-open on Saturday February 12 at 9am.

Customers will still be able to use the store for Click and Collect services.

The company says some of the key benefits of the refresh include new fitting rooms and new self-serve tills.

The women's wear, men's wear, children's wear and homeware departments will also receive an uplift and will have a great increased range in store.

The store also benefits from its concessions such as Totally Toys and Claire’s Accessories.

Store manager Tricia Houston said they were looking forward to welcoming customers back to a new and improved store

"We are so excited for our Inverness store to receive a refresh," she said.

"The refresh will bring an exciting new environment to showcase our great product, offering customers amazing fashion and home inspiration for all the family at incredible value."
