LATEST: Still falls the rain at Kingussie

With flood warnings in place since yesterday Badenoch has seen Spey levels rising all morning and the latest readings from the Scottish Environment Protection Agency show how things have changed in the last two hours.

"My photos also show how the tide is 'coming in' across our field here," reports crofter Ruaridh Ormiston at Market Lane.

The first was taken at 8.45 this morning:

"And it can come up another foot or two yet," he said.

This morning's graph at Invertruim showed the level of the river at within 'normal' but rising all the time:

The latest image shows that the Spey is already at 'high':
