Some homes in Badenoch left without landlines

Some households in the southern end of Badenoch have been without landlines.

A Police Scotland spokesperson stated: "We are aware of issues affecting telephone services in the areas of Newtonmore, Laggan and Glentruim.

"The outage only affects landlines and includes the 999 service.

"If you require emergency services, please use a mobile phone."
