The Highlands’ most-anticipated week for those in business is set to return in 2023.

Organised by Inverness Chamber of Commerce, Highland Business Week will be running from September 25-29, curating a unique opportunity for connection, networking and celebration.

One of the main events that will take place during the week is Highland Spotlight, which is the biggest business-to-business exhibition in the region.

Taking place on September 26, the day-long event provides a space for businesses to network with one another and show people what their business is all about. If you want to raise awareness of your company’s products or services to the Highland business community, then you need to exhibit at Highland Spotlight!

Paula Nicol, deputy chief executive of Inverness Chamber of Commerce said: “Highland Spotlight is renowned as a place where business is done. This year’s event once again sees organisations from a wide range of sectors exhibiting, showcasing the best of Highland business.

“With two-thirds of stands already reserved, now is the time to book your space and ensure inclusion in the show guide.

“Exhibiting not only raises awareness of your products or services, it increases your business profile and having a presence provides a real opportunity to make new contacts and develop lasting business relationships.”

An exhibitor who was at Highland Spotlight last year was Scott MacDonald, owner of The Flying Scotsman. This was his first event as an exhibitor, having attended as a visitor in the past.

Speaking about his experience, he said: “It was an excellent day, and I think it is the best business stand event that I have ever been to. It’s such a worthwhile event and the chamber does a really good job organising it all.

“We all know that the Highlands can be quite a slow burn, so Spotlight is a great opportunity to meet people there and then and make meaningful connections.”

Another organisation that was at Highland Spotlight last year was Care and Learning Alliance (CALA).

Speaking about his experience last year, head of business development and communications at CALA, Ronald Mackay said: “It was great to attend the Highland Spotlight event last year and very exciting getting back to face-to-face networking again. I met various people who have already made a difference to our business.

“I would recommend anyone in business in the Highlands to visit this event as they are bound to meet someone that will ultimately help them in making a difference.”

More information about booking for Highland Spotlight can be found at: www.inverness-chamber.co.uk. Each exhibition space package includes a covered table, access to power, and exhibitor listing in the show guide.
