'Serious' A9 crash sparks police appeal for dashcam footage

Dashcam footage and witnesses are being sought by police investigating a "serious" three-car crash on the A9 on Hogmanay.

A 40-year-old man and 85-year-old woman required hospital treatment following the collision on the A9 near Blair Atholl at around 11.05am on Sunday.

Appealing for witnesses, Sergeant Brian McEwen said: "Our enquiries into this collision are ongoing and we are keen to speak to the drivers of other vehicles which were travelling south on the A9 at the time

"We would also like to see any dashcam footage that captures the vehicles involved prior to the collision happening."

Anyone with information is asked to contact Police Scotland via 101 quoting 'incident number 1182 of December 31'.
