A number of staff at Grannie's Heilan' Hame caravan and camping park in Embo have had to self-isolate after coming into contact with people confirmed to have Covid-19.

The resultant shortage of staff has led to site operators Parkdean Resorts being unable to provide its normal level of service.

The holiday park is a popular site for families from the strath.

A spokesman for the holiday firm said: “Due to a number of our team having to self-isolate, we have been forced to offer a significantly reduced food and beverage, retail and entertainment provision at Grannie’s Heilan’ Hame this week.

“We’re sorry for any inconvenience this will cause, however the safety of our teams and our guests is of the utmost importance.”
