Ballindalloch Post Office re-opened yesterday following a temporary closure to modernise the premises.

The branch is located in the Ballindalloch Shop and new Postmaster Dolina Thomson undertook the refurbishment to make it a local style Post Office.

A range of Post Office services are now being offered at the retail counter.

The branch has new opening hours, Monday to Friday 7am – 6pm; Saturday: 8am –2pm.

Post Office bosses have said this is earlier weekday opening for the convenience of customers.

David Duff, Post Office Network Provision Lead, said: “We apologise for any inconvenience caused to our customers during the work.

"The safety of our customers is of paramount, therefore, to allow for the building work to take place, it was necessary for the service to close temporarily.”
