Police want to trace trio after theft of £3,000 mountain bikes

Police are appealing for information on three men who they want to trace in connection with the theft of mountain bikes costing up to £3,000 apiece.
They are also warning the owners of similar top marque mountain bikes to be on their guard against potentially further costly thefts.
Two mountain bikes were recently stolen from a cycle rack outside the shop at the Wolftrax mountain bike centre by Laggan.
The thefts occured between 3.30pm and 4pm on Saturday November 6 and police believe there is a possible link with similar thefts in Fort William of top end mountain bikes.
The first bike stolen from Wolftrax is a turquoise blue 2011 ‘Yetty’ make, 575 model, 18" frame, 26" wheels, 30 speed Shimano XT gears, home made mud guards on front, Fox make suspension forks which are white in colour and with DT Swiss wheels, black in colour.
The bike is valued at between £2,500 and £3,000.
The second bike is also a new model, ‘Yetty’ make, ASR7 model with a 17" frame and 26" wheels, 18 speed Shimano XT gears, Shimano SLK Cranks.
It has Mavic wheels which are black with yellow writing on the rims, white Fox make suspension forks and blue handlebars.
The bike is also valued in the region of £2,500 to £3,000.
A white Transit style van with a registration number similar to BV54 FVU or BV54 FBU, containing three men, was seen at the car park around the time of the theft.
The first man is described as being in his early 40s, 5ft 8ins in height, dark, greying short hair, clean-shaven, stocky build, slightly overweight with a Central Scotland accent.
He was seen to be wearing a black windcheater jacket and jeans.
The second man is described as being in his late 20s, 6ft tall, short dark hair, slim build and wearing a black and green hooded top similar to a tracksuit top. He was also wearing blue jeans.
The third man is described as being in his late 30s or early 40s, of medium build and balding.
This man, who was the driver, was believed to be wearing a green T-shirt.
