Police Scotland divers to search River Dulnain as officers continue search for missing Carrbridge woman Jacqueline Ullmer

DIVERS are to search the River Dulnain as police continue to look for missing Carrbridge woman Jacqueline Ullmer.

Police Scotland confirmed its plans to search the river this morning, as efforts to trace the missing 60-year-old entered their fifth day.

Extensive searches have been ongoing since she was reported missing from her home in the village on Saturday.

She has not been since around 1.30am that day on Station Road in Carrbridge and concerns continue to grow for her welfare.

Police Scotland's Dive and Marine Unit will be operating on the River Dulnain today, while extensive searches continue to be carried out around the village by specialist officers.

Inspector Vince Tough said: "At this time the last sighting of Jacqueline Ullmer remains the early hours of Saturday morning at her home address

"We are making every effort to try and establish Jacqueline's subsequent movements and these detailed searches form part of that work.

"I would take the chance to thank everyone who has assisted our enquiries so far and urge local residents and visitors to Carrbridge to remain vigilant and report anything they think may be of note to us as promptly as they can.

"Anyone who has any information can call us on 101 quoting incident 1723 of August 31."

Jacqueline is 5ft 6in tall and of slim build, with brown medium length hair.It is not known exactly how she was clothed but she is believed to be wearing a blue jumper and blue jeans.
