Police are appealing for information following break-ins in Aviemore and Kingussie.

Police in Aviemore are appealing for information after two break-ins occurred in both Aviemore and Kingussie.

Between 2pm on March 8, and 5pm on March 9, a house in Grampian View, Aviemore was targeted and items were stolen.

Also, between 5pm on March 8 and 12.45pm on March 9, a house in Newtonmore Road, Kingussie was broken into.

Items including jewellery, cash, cameras and watches were stolen.

A Police Scotland spokesperson said: "We are continuing with our enquiries and are keen to speak to anyone who heard or saw anything suspicious or anyone who has CCTV in these areas.

"If you have any information that may assist, please contact 101 or Crimestoppers anonymously via 0800 555 111."
