Police appeal for information on missing Kingussie woman

Police are urgently appealing for information to help trace Janette Jones who has been reported missing from her home in the Kingussie area.

The 53-year-old was last seen at around 11pm last night (Sunday) and has not been seen or heard from since.

She has access to a green Volvo V70 car with the registration plate SV53 VVE.

A Police Scotland spokesperson said: "We would urge anyone who has seen or sees this vehicle to get in touch as soon as possible."

Janette is described as being around 5ft7 in height, of a slim build with dark brown shoulder length curly hair.

She was last seen wearing black and white patterned trousers and a blue-coloured fleece.

Anyone with information regarding her current whereabouts is asked to contact Police Scotland on 101 as soon as possible.
