Ice and frost across Badenoch and Strathspey roads

Badenoch and Strathspey's roads condition report from Highland Council confirms that all resources are currently being deployed.

Issue at 6.58 this morning, the report warned that ice and frost is covering the network, with negative temperatures throughout.

"All resources are deployed and all routes are being treated.

"More snow and low temperatures are forecast for throughout the day and evening.

"Caution is advised on all roads and footpaths across the area."

A number of Highlad schools or nurseries have closed today as a result of bad weather.
