Pedestrian 'seriously hurt' following collision with cyclist in Aviemore, Police Scotland confirms

A PEDESTRIAN suffered "serious" injuries when he and a cyclist collided in Aviemore last night (Thursday), police have said.

The collision occurred in Grampian Road at around 7.30pm.

The cyclist, a man in his 30s, suffered minor injuries. The male pedestrian - who police said was also in his 30s - was taken to Raigmore Hospital in Inverness with what officers described as "serious" injuries.

The road was closed for around three hours while police carried out investigations at the scene.
