Wet roads but 'no issues' on Badenoch and Strathspey routes

Today's roads conditions report issued by Highland Council at 6.15am confirms 'no overnight issues' for Badenoch and Strathspey.

"Temperatures are higher than forecast.

"Primary and Secondary routes being treated throughout the area. Wet roads."

On neighbouring Inverness routes there are dry and wet roads, while on the Nairn side temperatures are higher than forecast.

"Damp roads on lower ground and wet roads on high routes.

"Primary and Secondary routes being treated as a precaution on higher ground. No known overnight issues."
