NHS Highland is developing a plan - Together We Care.

"The plan will be used to shape our approach over the next five years towards developing a sustainable and high-quality health care service by 2027," said a spokesperson.

"We know the demand on our health and social care service is increasing and this is likely to continue. We need to make sure that our services can cope with this, now and in the future and are inviting you to help write this plan with us.

"We want to pull together ideas from Highland’s population, workforce, and partners so that the strategy is written by the people of the Highlands, for the people of the Highlands."

Over the next few months, the service will be reaching out and asking the public to engage with it in lots of different ways. Executive members of the board will be visiting local communities and NHS services across NHS Highland to glean thoughts and ideas

Anyone can share their ideas by completing an online survey here

Paper copies and alternative formats of the survey are available on request, by emailing nhsh.listening@nhs.scot or writing to us Freepost RUAK-JGSH-TUUL, Clinical Governance Team, NHS Highland, Together We Care, Assynt House, NHS Highland, IV2 3BW.

"We will keep everyone informed of where we will be and what people are telling us, so please keep your ears open to local radio, and your eyes on the local press and social media; they will be letting you know how the plan is progressing."

Progress can also be followed on social media pages to keep up to date or visit the website at http://nhsh.scot/TogetherWeCare.

"We need you to talk to us now; without your input, ideas, and thoughts, we cannot create the Together We Care strategy."
