A9 restricted again at Aviemore junction

Police Scotland have released some details of this afternoon's disruption on the A9 south of Aviemore.

“We received a report of a two-vehicle crash involving a car and a caravan around 1.15pm," a spokesperson confirmed.

“There were no injuries and the road re-opened at 2.30pm.”

Just three days after a five-hour closure, Traffic Scotland were quick to notify motorists about the disruption at Badenoch's Lynwilg junction.

"The A9 Aviemore at Loch Alvie is restricted in both directions," the report stated.

Traffic was restricted both north and southbound and motorists had to deal with delays until mid-afternoon.
