Man reported missing near Abernyte has been found

A missing man who was reported last seen in the area of Abernyte between Dundee and Perth has been found.

Brian Sharp (59) was last seen in the area early this morning, but has since been traced by the police.

A Tayside police statement read: "We can confirm that Brian Sharp, 59, who had been reported missing from Abernyte, has been traced.

"We would like to thank those who assisted with our appeal."
