Last chance for first Pfizer jag in Aviemore

Aviemore GPs are offering a last chance to locals for their first Covid vaccination next week.

The village's medical practice has said that after Thursday's clinic (July 15) patients will have to be referred to the Highland capital for their first vaccination.

The Pfizer jag will be available at Aviemore Community Centre next to the village's school from 9am to noon.

A health centre spokesperson sid: "If any patient would like an appointment please call the health centre on 01479 810258 to book a slot.

"This is the last Pfizer clinic for first dose vaccinations.

"Patients who don't attend will have to be referred to an Inverness clinic."
