Krispy Kreme to give away a year's supply of doughnuts to first Highlands' outlet customer

After weeks of anticipation, Inverness's first Krispy Kreme outlet will open next week.

A spokeswoman for the popular doughnut firm said: "Krispy Kreme is bringing sweet treats to Inverness with the city’s much-anticipated first location opening on January 18. What’s more, Krispy Kreme is celebrating opening its first dedicated shop in the Highlands by giving the lucky first customer in the queue on opening day a year’s supply of doughnuts.

"The first dozen customers can expect a morning of incredible surprises as they receive exclusive money-can’t-buy Krispy Kreme merchandise with their purchase.

"From January 18-21, doughnut fans will even be able to purchase the signature melt in the mouth Original Glazed Dozen for just £10 instead of £14.95."

The new location, opening at 10am in the High Street, will also be serving all of the latest limited-edition doughnuts, as well as coffee and soft drinks.

Krispy Kreme staff are also set to give away hundreds of doughnuts in the city centre – outside the shop and Inverness Railway Station – tomorrow (Friday).

The firm defines a year's supply of doughnuts as one free choose your own dozen each month for 12 months.
