Kings delighted Camanachd Cup final will come to town next year

Kingussie Camanachd Club has said that it is delighted that the 2021 Tulloch Homes Camanachd Cup Final will be held at The Dell after this season's disappointment.
The Red and Blues also confirmed that The Final Fling concert will also be going ahead following the match in the same format that had
been planned for September 19th later this season until coronavirus intervened.
The line up will remain the same with Peat & Diesel, Manran, Keir Gibson, Dan Gilchrist from MFR, and The Clan stunt cycling team confirmed to appear.
Kingussie Club Past-President John Robertson explained: “Tickets are selling even faster than we expected and all tickets sold so far for the 19th September 2020 will now be valid for Saturday 18th September 2021.
"The remaining tickets left for the re-scheduled event on 18th September 2021 will be on sale on-line from this week and we expect them to sell quickly."
Mr Robertson continued: “The on-line platform we are using for selling tickets is Skiddle, and they will be in touch by email this week with everyone who has already bought a ticket to explain the details.
"We are hoping everyone with a ticket will keep them for September 2021 but anyone who can’t make that date will be entitled to a refund.
"Regarding printed tickets already sold at Caberfeidh Horizons, they will now be valid for September 2021 and we are hoping everyone will keep their tickets.”
The club is making every effort to re-book the other entertainment events which were planned for locations in Kingussie during the week leading up to the Big Weekend.
There will be an announcement about these events in due course.
Kingussie Camanachd Club president Russell Jones said: “It is great news indeed that the entire weekend’s events are still coming to Kingussie just a year on from when we initially planned it.
"It is building to be one of the biggest and most exciting events ever seen in Badenoch.”
