Ice now main problem in Badenoch and Strathspey

Highland Council's roads report today for Badenoch and Strathspey, posted at just past 8am, warns of localised icy patches.

A widespread frost has added to the conditions left by the storms of the earlier part of the week.

"Roads are being treated as necessary."

In the surrounding south of Inverness areas, there are no known issues.

"A little warmer than expected this morning.

"Treatment running on all routes and footpaths."
