Highland Council's road conditions report issued at 9.21 this morning confirms local routes are damp with some ice and frost patches.

"We are treating primary and secondary routes.

"There are no known problems."

On neighbouring Nairn-side roads frost patches with the odd ice patch were also reported.

Primary and secondary routes are being treated as well as foot paths.

On the Inverness side, grey frost was the early morning issue and gritters are now out treating all routes.
