Highland Heroes is sponsored once again by Inverness Airport and features 14 categories where you can nominate individuals or groups in your community who you feel have gone above and beyond to support and care for others.
New for 2023 is the green hero award which will be presented to an individual who is helping to create a cleaner, greener future.

Each week, your favourite Highland News & Media newspapers and websites have included special features about each of the categories along with all the details of how you can nominate individuals or organisations in your community.
Once all of your nominations are in, our judging panel will begin the difficult task of whittling down your entries to create a shortlist.
All the shortlistees will be featured in our special supplement where you will be invited to vote for your Highland Heroes of 2023!
As well as the 14 main categories, there is also a very special accolade which will be presented at the awards ceremony at the Macdonald Drumossie Hotel, Inverness on Friday, March 10, 2023.
The hero of heroes will be decided by our judges from all of the winners at the ceremony and revealed on the night!
