New date for Highland Council meeting confirmed after IT hitch

The Highland Council has confirmed that its meeting which was due to take place virtually yesterday has been adjourned until Thursday, January 7.

A spokesperson aid: "Although the technical issues encountered just before yesterday's meeting, which were outwith the council’s control, have been resolved, after consulting with group leaders the council convener has confirmed the members will reconvene in January."
